I01 A discussion on the balance between the Product Owners’ and the Project Managers’ responsibilities and areas of competences was held. The need of a more clear dividing line between what lies in the field of the Project Managers’s tasks and responsibilities and what doesn’t was highlighted; this line is more critical in case of small projects.

I02 The PMs’ role and their ‘added value’ to the organization must be more clearly communicated within the organization

D03 The PMs have to ensure that their roles/responsibilities are more clearly identified and communicated form the beginning of a project. In case of disagreement with the BUs this should be escalated to John and Christian.

d04 Additional discussion on the PMs’ tasks and responsibility issue to be held in the PM forum on 28 August 2009. Jaan will come into on of the future PM forums for such a discussion.

Alignment of Project Name and Line Item Name A05 PM’s have to ensure that Webwork Projects must have the same name as the line items in the budget

HP Quality Center Testing Tool I06 ‘HP testing tool’ could be more widely used for tracking defects in projects that do tests (no longer need of Excel-based errors reporting). Lars is aiming to make the tool usable for all test activities.

A07 Lars to investigate the feasibility and cost for developing a Defect Tracking Tool integrated in Webwork
